Haha, no, I hope not he loves playing with my hair so if he learns how to fly - he's definitely going to change into a bat...

lol. My cat started to stand like that after the she watched the Meerkat Manor Marathon on animal planet. XD I know it's partially natural for cats to do that to see something intriguing but my cat does it way too often. Yours is standing very well.

lol XD Cats are so intriguing. I'm not sure what it means but I think they are just being like kids. I have to be careful what's on TV--especially animal planet--when Calypso is near me because she tries to imitate what she sees. So far she has tried to be a crocodile, a kangaroo(that was a funny day), a meerkat, and kitty from X-men (she thinks she can walk through walls, no joke, and she tries it as least once or twice a week if not more--I swear she is going to get brain damage.)

OMG you're joking! And I thought I had a smart cat cause he was actually taking the breaks during the commercials and returning after they were finished
I swear he knew when the gepards and eagles where back
I still have pictures of him watching TV but my room's too mesy so I won't show you to prove it
It was just that one film. He never watched it again - shame
Don't show Calipso any of the Dr House episode cause she'll go on Vicodin!

That is a smart cat or he is a very good imitator of human behavior. lol either way smart in it's own way. If your cat is a Maine Coon then you have a very mischievous and super smart cat. They are like sponges and learn things quite quickly.Ah that's no problem, it's understandable, I'm not going to heckle you to put those picture up.
Huh? Maybe his predatory skills kicked in when he saw the birds.
Oh I know right? lol good thing she doesn't much care for those shows, she walks away when they are on tv. It's only really animal planet that she gets into and every once in a while when my nephews are here, the preschool channel. Maybe because it's interactive. Who knows.

Oh yes, mischevious he is, all right
He just broke into the cupborad when I keep his food and he's sitting in there trying not to be seen No idea how he had opened it... he's like a vulture

OMG, really? So sorry to hear that. You have a glutton on your hands. That's weird though, most cats have a sensor like humans that lets them know they are full. I guess like humans some cats just don't have it.
Does he walk in between your legs and mew non-stop when you are giving him food? mine does, she almost tripped me a couple of times. But at least I know she is food motivated because I can get her to chase me around the house for a bit to keep her active.

Hehe, no. He just lies down near his bowls, all waiting, and watches your every move with that proud gaze saying "Now, peasant, hurry up. I don't have a whole day".
And when nobody notices him lying near the bowls, he turns into a little hungry Gollum and jumps to sb's leg and bites in the knee, all his pride gone
His not food-driven, unfortunately. He thinks that we are going to feed him either way, so he doesn't have to do anything special, like be a good boy for example. We're way too soft for that mischievious maliscious beast of him He's a darling though

lol XD that's so funny. They know they rule the roost.
He knows what he wants and he's not afraid to take action to get it. lol
I clicker trained my one cat and although he is food motivated, it only last so long, so I bought these special trainer treats, they have a strong smell for the cats to entice them and the cats love the taste, but it's made so that if you feed them like 30 of them in a day, they won't get sick.
