A gift for my amazing boyfriend Oisin
We played a lot of Monster Hunter during the quarantine as a fun long distance date night activity! Around valentines, we were focusing on trying to slay the mizutsune from the MHR demo We didn't get to kill it before the demo ended, so I wanted to make this painting of us fighting the beast, with my boyfriend about to land the killing blow!
I put us in our favourite armour and weapons, with him wearing the Astalos armour, and myself wearing the Glavenos varient! He is using the lightning bow, and I'm using the obsidian blade insect glaive!
This took maybe 30-40 hours over the last few months in between my college work. Programme used: clip studio paint
