I worked at Blizzard Entertainment for a while doing customer service and while I was there I made this square as part of a project. It has the company's mission statement on it. You can't really see it in the photo, but the word "epic" is in purple thread because they always write "epic" in purple at Blizzard to highlight how important the concept is.

Obviously, I had to basically invent this pattern myself and the lettering was easy, but the square is only 3 inches to a side, so it was slightly tricky to get the stylized logo to look right. I think that it turned out ok, though. I just needed to make it out of really small stitches on linen cloth (this allows you to choose how many threads to sew over and so how large each square cross-stitch will be, which is convenient for a project like this where you want to be able to have different scales in the cross-stitch area and the embroidered lettered area).
