This is a scarf that I made for my mother for Christmas. It's a set of Mini Computer boards. Mini Computers are a tool used by the CSMP (Comprehensive School Mathematics Program) system for teaching various math concepts. My mom has been a math teacher using this system for over twenty years to teach gifted students. You can see what mini computers look like here: [link] They're a great teaching tool.

Anyway, my mom loved the scarf! I almost wish that I'd made her some felt checkers for it or something, but I think she and her students got enough of a kick out of it even without any checkers.
