Indeed, but I figure if I could stay devoted to a guy I thought was dead for one year, than staying devoted to a guy who will talk to me frequently and tells me he loves me for a separation of two years wont be too hard...leastwise that's the plan anyway...

Two years pass quicker than you realize, especially if you can communicate with them. It's a pretty good test for a relationship too. If you can survive two years apart, and come out of it still in love with each other, then you can pass through any trial.

i found that five years apart can really test your mettle. i used to have some abandonment issues, but he cleared those up before the last time he left.
