I wish, for just once... You could see the real me...

When did it become ok for people to hate others just because of being different?

Inspired and driven by things I've seen, heard and experiences I've had in the past. I really don't understand how people can justify hating or bullying someone for being different... I was bullied quite a lot in high school for being overweight and 'weird' (and even now I constantly worry whether that person is laughing at me or a joke with friend's), and what's right in that? I have friends of various nationality, yet I see everyday people insulting other's because they're different... Why? Who set the rule that everyone had to be one type and that's all?

The image is meant to reflect that, the mask with a twisted and taped up smile, cracks and eyes is meant to reflect the ugliness a person must see to be able to hate another... But that's all it is, a mask created by yourself of how you that person is 'wrong'... Take away the mask and look past it and you might find the real person behind it, the one you've hurt and the person that is exactly like you in the end...

Been wanting to do this picture for ages, but couldn't think of how to do it... And I dunno... Tonight I suddenly wanted to do it LOL Maybe 'cause it's the fact I have homework and should be in bed! D8 lol

Now to bed, 'cause of got uni in a few hours! Lol
