Description
Here’s the second, MUCH more complex concept for “Project Zero” (in fact, it’s the most complex drawing I’ve done in a long time), and this one is inspired by the true final boss of the “Live-A-Live” remake, Sin of Odio: Dr. Wily’s Final Machine, which he designed as a last-ditch effort to crush Mega Man and his allies for good. The machine itself is somewhat based on Zero’s design, with Zero himself plugged into its “heart” as its main power source, while Dr. Wily is in the main control room as its “brain”. The entire thing is constantly ablaze with Zero’s “awakened” aura, and is armed with all sorts of nasty weaponry, so it’s safe to say it’ll take nothing short of a miracle for Mega Man to get out of this one alive…! Anyway, while the Final Wily Machine itself wasn’t too hard to draw, the tiny figures of Dr. Wily, Zero and Mega Man really kicked my ass as I was drawing THEM… but overall, I had fun drawing this one, and it certainly helped that I had tracks like “Pure Odio”, “Vergil Battle 3” and “Daughter of the Dark God” to listen to…! While Dr. Wily, Zero and Mega Man belong to Capcom, and Sin of Odio belongs to Square Enix, the Final Wily Machine belongs to me.
