Description
[Miles Upshur from Outlast]Welcome back to another animation of a videogame character where I practice animation of basic action, and then proceed to animate character falling on their face.
The line above refers to a The Stanley Parable animation I made a few months ago, and so here I tried to improve on things I was practicing there. I tried working on and adding some extra shading, and making the smear frame movements look a bit smoother. Personally, I like how the animation came out, although maybe I should've added another frame or so between the get-up into the run animation. The trip animation over the table also looks off, though I'm still trying to figure out what it is specfically. I think I also messed up with the non-descript background movements in the speed it's moving at. It kind of makes the run animation look a bit faster than it is as well and so a bit off- so I guess that's something noted to work on in future.
I also started working on this as a dual-project while working on a main animation project when I got tired out on it. And honestly, I found it worked well- when there was something that felt like a pain to animate or figure out how to animate I would swap to the other project. And if it happened there I would swap back to the other where I'd find it easier to work on. So, that was fun and neat- will probably try again in the future.
