Description

STILL ON THE XCOM ROLL BABY.

.... working on that Lancer PTSD.

PROFILES : Dave (Deyam Drir) and Susan Campbell

Call sign “Dave” is working undercover for the resistance inside ADVENT. Tygan theorizes that double agents’ defective yet functional chips still flag them as friendly among other ADVENT while most of them are able to retain free will, in technical sense their chips are read only. Being a Lancer, Dave has the perks of being very mobile, agile and impressively strong for his average stature but at the same time suffers from the typical impulsiveness and short temper. He is somewhat idealistic yet pragmatic, a trait he shares with Skirmishers, his adventurous nature and quick thinking allow him to perform his double-agent role well.

Specialist Susan “Jolt” Campbell is a proficient hacker usually found working on complicated electronic systems and mecs. She is probably one of the very few people happy to see a Sectopod. She is generally very proactive and open minded, tends to rant nonstop when nervous (note: Dave, did you write this?). She’d say she’s more of a tech person than a gun person so her handling of firearms leaves a lot to be desired, nevertheless she can be quite an asset in the field, especially when dealing with automated defenses and the aforementioned mecs.

Dave and Susan met on a botched mission where she was separated from the rest of her unit. Several of her squad mates didn’t make it, the rest, considering her MIA, moved to the evac point with the wounded. She was badly hurt, trying to escape the tunnel systems when she got intercepted by a lone ADVENT Lancer (note: And got a heart attack_note2: I said I was sorry). He identified himself as a double agent working for Xcom, and he was going to get her to safety.

Since then, the two of them have developed quite a rapport and have been deployed on several covert ops mostly dealing with infiltration and intel collection. They make a pretty good team.
