I agree, maybe just having dabs of green leaves around them would make them look more like they're leaning into the tree rather than just floating on it...

But I can just see the swan thinking: "Strange humans, sitting on a branch. Don't they know it'll never hatch?" haha

The people seem to float, maybe with some leaves or branches in front of them, it would look better.. but I'm no expert and I think you did a really good job!
