I was a TF fan since they first came out in the 80's. Don't like the Armada( Pokemon type) that they got now. Anyways, I think the original Prime is the best. Wish I drew the head better though. Other than that, the only problem I have is the angle of the arm rest part of his gun. But this is the best Transformers pic I've ever done. You'd think I'd have more pics of them, being an old fan an all.Related content

Thanks, I used to draw them WAAAAYYYYYYYY back as a kid when they first came out. I figure I'd give it another shot since I'm a huge fan. I didn't think it would turn out as well as it did but I'm very happy with the result

Thanks, I've been trying to find the Generation one Transformers transforming sound to use for when I turn on my computer. But its pretty hard to find one that doesn't have dialogue with it.

thats cool i never even thought of that guess i'm not as hardcore as i thought but this dude i know has like well over 100 transformer toys dating back to 1984 or something (including some rare ones from japan) and there still in there original pacs his room is totaly nuts its like walking in to a toy store seeing all the transformers you want and then not being able to buy them it sux but its figgin cool at the same time good luck on finding that sound fx

thanks, but I'm not THAT hardcore. I've been a huge fan since they first came out. But I only have a couple of the toys. The one thing I liked most is the sound fx. I thought it'd be cool to have that play when I turn on my pc.

i loooove optimus prime, the original not the other wannabes, only other optimus i liked was beast wars and beast machines optimus. did you by any chance get to see the 20th anniversary optimus prime figure?

Very nice drawing. I have an original(at least 80s anyway) Optimus Prime somewhere. I think some parts are missing from the trailer part though. And yeah, I've yet to see a version of transformers I like as much as the original. I like the look of Transformers Armada more than some of the other newer transformers series(like Beast Wars). I have seen some pictures from the G.I. Joe VS Transformers(or is it the other way around?) comics. They look kind of cool. I also have some Voltron toys probably with my transformers. I'm not sure which versions I have of the lions. But I do think I have some plastic ones of the car ones.

only thing about the new Transformers comic that I like is the art, its way better than the original comic. I always liked the lion Voltron way better than the car ones. It was much more cool looking even though there was less to play with.

was it a solid one or did you have to put it together from seperate lions? ..my favorite toys were the little plastic gi joes, i loved those damn things...hours were spent choreographing acrobatic fights with them, with the help of string and Q-tips of course hehe

yeah, actually now that i think about it, power rangers was more of a mix of the voltron-esqe robots, and the characters and armor from ronin warriors (i loved that cartoon too) heh

The 80's was an awesome time for guys like us growing up. DEFINETLY had better cartoons and wasn't sugar coated like the stuff playing now. Dunno about The Real Ghostbusters, but remember GI Joe, Voltron, Thundercats, SilverHawks, Inhumans, Go Bots, Visionaries, Bionic Six, and of course Robotech. Ah...the good O'l days.

I was one of those kids who cried when he died in the movie and I believe that he stayed dead then... it's a great " tribute" to a fallen hero...
