Description It’s been 4 years since the end of the famous Artemis Program by NASA, which ended in 2032. The Russian Union’s Roscosmos and the Chinese National Space Agency have just announced their intentions to set human feet in the red planet of mars. Not to be out done NASA announced the Minerva Program, the intention to set humans on mars and establish a permanent presence. With previously established lunar infrastructure, like the Armstrong Base and Gateway Spacehook, NASA already had a head start. They developed the Lunar Launch System Rocket, a small reusable craft to get space craft at a high enough speed to make use of the Orbital Lunar Spacehook, Gateway. The LLS would launch a new spacecraft, Aries, designed to sustain human life for over a year in deep space while traveling between the Moon and Mars. With all the pieces together, Minerva+ I was scheduled for launch in August of 2036, however do to solar activity, the launch was pushed back to September, and then again to November, when it finally launched. This first flight will test the Aries craft and the feasibility of the LLS, as well as preparing for Minerva II, where humankind will take its first steps on the surface of Mars.
