I've been going over many different designs (as explained here: goo.gl/nAxFo0 ,) from various games.. trying to grab a bit of everything. I don't want to devote too much of it to any game in particular, so I plan on giving it a lot of small details on the trim/molding, with exaggerated proportions and such (i.e. much like the towers.)
Right now I'm trying different styles for the windows, seeing which suits the style better. While yes, I LOVE the windows here, I think tall windows; similar to MARIO GALAXY would suit the castle more; make it seem more grand. Maybe I'll keep the other variants I make for another project..
