I didn't really think that about the cave in the movie, about it just projecting your desires. And, for it to show the same thing for Aladdin, Abu, and this guy... Well, I guess I'd thought of the cave having mounds of money because pretty much every person would like money, and not a searching your heart's desire type of thing.
