Doctor Who - Nine (Christopher Eccleston)I'm watching again the new series of Doctor Who, so I see Nine every day, so I wanted to paint it
about 4 or 5 hours in Photoshop with a picture as a reference.

Yes I save it on my computer too because I open the reference file next to my working file both in Photoshop. But I usually prefer to put the reference link with my work when I publish it because I think it's more fair for the people who see it

Thank you for saying that, I love you for it. It's why I'm against art classes, they usually focus more on technique and composition (which, in my opinion,Β is nothing compared to the ability of the image to provokeΒ thought or how much it reflects the artist's ideas.)Β Β

Yes, you're right
Then when you got the skills you need or you want to have, you are more powerful to express your ideas. It works also with the culture. It's like a speech, imagine saying to two persons to give a speech about something. The first person doesn't have a great culture neither good vocabulary, the other one has it. I think the second one will give a more convincing speech (hm, maybe not if it's something about feeling, I think this part depends more of the "human skills", but if it's about logical/intellectual reflections...)
