Description Same character.Β But this time I've had her stand up.
Connoisseurs of 2CV's will know that the car tilts quite a bit when you sit on it. That is the case here as well.

Enjoy!

Your welcome

I absolutely agree with your statement especially for still images. I follow the same approach.

I had a friend spent some time collecting the condemned prints from the trash bin of a centralized photo development factory.Β  Either Kodak or Fiji, I forget.Β  He had collected like a million of these discarded prints and tried to put them into categories.Β  Far and away the most frequent was baby pictures. Wedding shots, sunsets, and pets of course, but a definite contender was girlfriends posed against cars.

Nothing wrong with babies. But girlfriends at cars must be right up there.

Well I think girl-car shots are infinitely more interesting from a socio-anthropological architypical perspective, which is why I mentioned it in regard to your image, but no, baby pictures dwarfed all other categories by at least a factor of two, I believe.Β  But this was 40 years ago, so I may be mis-remembering.

My friend did an " installation" where he seeded a tree along the street of a typical quiet suburban neighborhood with hundreds of the baby pictures.

The wind would cause themΒ  to eventually flutter down, where well meaning passers by would pick them up off the sidewalk and prop them on fence posts and the like all along the street.

I don't remember anything he did with the girl/car shots.

Take them to a hot rod meet and make a stall with an exhibition...

Was gonna ask if the trunk was an add-on or a standard feature, but I guss I could look it up...

That trunk lid was a special feature made by CitroΓ«n in the 50'ties.

In later year there was an add on box which went ynder the regular hood - using that as the lid of a luggage box.

Oh, you chose one with an enlarged trunk. I've driven the regular one. They're fun but I wouldn't advise people to pen the top: It would take hours and broken nails to put it back on in case weather changes Β  .

The top is a but of a challenge. So is the sensation when you first time corner at some speed.
