Description
So once more, our blue hedgehog hit a landmark anniversary this time 25 year young the lucky devil. But what to Stamp I wondered? Generations was too obvious, 06 is not quite 10 years yet (Not to mention not the positive way to celebrate the blue blur..) and all the Mega Drive main games have been stamped already.So I picked the 8-bit Sonic 1 for Master System as that will turn 25 soon too.
Its also on Game Gear, but I strongly recommend playing the Master System as its suited for TVs (The screen ratio was shrunk for the Game Gear versions, hence why the first boss on Sonic 2 8 bit on Game Gear is so tough. XD) and its a pretty nice platformer that actually has more platforming then the speed focused Sonics. The compilations usually just use the Game Gear versions which sucks, but I know the Wii Virtual Console at least has the true Master System version, so be warey.
Enough rambling on, Happy Birthmas Sonic! Hopefully next anniversary you'll have a new game that's not the Olympic crossover to celebrate 30 years... XD
