This is very well painted! There's something a little happy and a little sad about this, and that combination makes it that much more interesting to look at!

I love the mixtures of colours used; they truly compliment one another, creating a warm and cold feeling. I especially love the detail in the facial cut and the liquid draining out through it. Furthermore, the facial expression adds a beautiful touch to the ambiguous emotions that this invokes (or at least that I feel from this). Very well done!

That's the exact same thing I always think about every time I cut myself by accident . The last one I got was a sharp papercut from opening a jar of peanut better. Even after it's healed, I can still see a line on the tip of my middle finger from the cut. I couldn't tell if it's... a scar.
