Description
Sketch of costume/defining characteristics of Calamity, member of Brigand Catch. The hardest part about having hundreds of hero and villain designs is establishing defining characteristics for each (think about how recognizable a character is from just their silhouette...Mickey Mouse, Batman, Bugs Bunny, that's part of their defining characteristics, or haircuts in Attack On Titan lol). Once I finally settle on costume looks for each team I will need to do a sweep of all the main characters and try and add/define some characteristics that make them stand out in the crowd. Some have things going for them already, like Bluejays head wings or Boom Boxes bodacious body shape, but most are still looking pretty generic. I'm hoping throwing all my sketches up here will finally force me to see the different versions and make a decision so I can move on to the next stage.
