Description
While the meme addresses what it sought to. What is it proving? Objectification is fine if it goes both ways? No.
If sexy women is okay, then you must be okay with sexy men.
Moot point cause people like sexy things, so both sides being objectified helps nothing. Just belaboring an issue.
How about just armor them both? Instead of belaboring the problem everyone knew existed already, why not offer a solution or a precedent.
Ya know, progress.
Really tired of seeing that meme (only cause Twitter keeps putting on my feed lol) like it said something nobody's ever heard before. As harmless as it is, cause it makes a point, yet-
Just pointing out a non-issue with no alternate criteria to contrast or an example to reference to "help" the matter, helps absolutely no one.
And that's coming from me, I've got more than 2 cents on tokenization, fanservice and objectification but at least I give examples to media that either address the topic or did it better. That's the point.
