This is my first attempt at realism
......and yes it's megan fox...only did her because because I couldn't escape her picture which are all over the net

this is not noob work. the only things I can think about working on would be the lines. your jaw line is a little too hard. perhaps blending that a little bit more would help. a also think that re referencing your light sources would help. remember that light refracts of objects around us, so there should be a few smaller light sources that should be effecting the lighting and shading. Great work. probably better then I could do. Although I try to stray away from total realism.

Hm... I have a little question... Did you put the reference as the first layer and then started painting on other layers above it or just kept it aside?

The picture was definatly there on the painter app. I equally put it side by side on the page and kept swaping through windows to get it down to the little different colours and light spots.
But I admit im not totally innocent, I did put it underneath at one point to trace over the outline. I tried drawing her nose....i couldn't do it. Yes I'm a crook
