i love the fact that you drew one of your characters from a different angle than usual...and the flow of the whole picture in wonderful. ^^ love the peices of chain flying about...and the little sparklies are so cute~!
not sure why you don't like the background, but i think it's lovely. it really adds a really pretty touch to the picture...honestly, i do love this. very very wonderful and i'm sure your friend loved it as well.

what you say in your journal you shouldn't change for others your style is unique to you and you have so many more people that like your work i know you inspire many to do unique original works so i know its harder to listen to truths but do try. don't ever give up on your work and do what makes you happy, not others. they are not you. you are living as you. so be yourself and please yourself.
but anyway i am one of the ones who gets inspried by you and your works, but i hate brown nosing too so i stop writing here.

Amazing stuff Lasaro. I really like the BG even if you say it killed you, it makes it feel very cinematic, like it were taken straight out of a movie or soemthing. It is just overflowwing with style and is really bursting with creativity in how you have composed the peice. There are a huge amount of layers to it, just so much depth in the perspective esp. with the cool effect achieved with the chains flying towards us. Her expression and pose and nice soft and subtle. The colour matching works beautifully too, the gentle blue against the orange reds. A really great pic Lina, you continue to improve and explore your talent, keep it up !
