Yay! My gosh, Lutrex took me quite a few hours to finish I think it's because I kept getting distracted and stuff lol! Anyways here he is in all his blue energy glowy goodness! i realy enjoyed finaly hashing out his transformation and rear view to match his alternate form... ive been wanting to do this for him for years.

I decided for my own use I’d post his bio and history with his Character sheet so I or anyone else can refer to this in the future.

== Name Origin ==
Laserbot is an earned nick name given to him by his comrades as a result of his abilities. His true name, Lutrex is derived from ancient Cybertronian meaning “Bright One”, “Light”, or “Warrior of Light.”

Laserbot is from the distant future of Generation one/Comic book universe.

When Laserbot matures as a Guardian he will become a Multidimensional being. This meaning he will have the ability to jump from one universe to the next. This ability is posessed by entities such as Primus and his chosen, Unicron and his minions, etc.

== Alliance ==
Lutrex is an Autobot by spark, however his heritage is to the Original 13 Guardians or also known in legend as Primus’s Guardians. Unknown to him, he and his abilities have been created with a greater purpose that will impact the future of Cybertron.

== Function ==
Back on Cybertron Laserbot started out as an Archivist and soon moved up to become the facilities manager, inheriting the business from his adopted creator. He often times doubled as a Data Logger/Explorer. The job consisted of managing those under his private facility as well as seeking out new technology and cultural information both on Cybertron and on other planets. Often times he would accompany a representative of Cybertron on outer world expeditions to add to his archive. This was however back during a brief time of peace after the great-war. Unfortunately his life took a turn for the worst when the facility he managed was attacked while he was gone on a expedition. Upon arrival Laserbot discovered his adoptive creator had been killed in the attack. As a result Laserbot joined the Autobots forces to prevent others from sharing the same fate that his creator had fallen victim to.

== Bio ==
Lutrex is from a distant future of Cybertron in the Generation 1 era. Lutrex was created during a time of fragile peace. No one knows who Lutrex’s true creators are as he was found deep in Cybertrons core alone in a stasis chamber by an excavation group. The group had been looking for relics and clues to uncover Cybertrons distant lost past but instead had found him. The expeditions archivist and Data logger Gearbox quickly became attached to the little mech and thus became Lutrex adoptive creator.

In time Lutrex grew and was taught diverse studies as his creator possessed a plethora of knowledge. Over time he grew up to appreciate and respect other forms of life in all their shapes and sizes. However it was not till his physical training that Gearbox realized Lutrex was not an ordinary youngling. During training he began to display signs of abilities not seen since the reign of the original Cybertronians. Gearbox immediately recognized Lutrex was different, he however did not allow Lutrex this knowledge until he felt him ready. He intern continued to nurture his mind and body for the day he suspected Lutrex would need it most.

In time Lutrex matured into an adult mech. Now old enough he followed in Gearbox’s footsteps and went with him on expeditions. It was not until after an incident where Lutrex had been caught in an acidic geothermal eruption that he discovered the full extent of his true abilities. He had flinched expecting to be disintegrated alive only to discover his own energy had formed a field of light around his body like an extra layer of armor.

It was after that that Gearbox explained to him his abilities. He however distinctly left out that he suspected Lutrex to be the descendant to the original Primus’s Guardians… as the birth of a Guardian in peaceful times often predicted hard times ahead for Cybertron. As only Primus knew what was to come and sent forth an angel to protect his people. Gearbox knew Lutrex would not take such news well instead it would weigh heavily on his conscious, if he felt he was the cause of such trials not the result to help prevent them. Even then Gearbox was only speculating from the knowledge he had attained of histories long past.

However despite Gearbox attempts to hide the real truth from him, Lutrex suspected there was something his creator was not revealing to him. He however came to look at his abilities as something to hide. Afraid to be different, Lutrex sought out to keep them suppressed in public, however there were times where he would let it slip by accident but life went on…

In time Lutrex inherited Gearbox’s archive facility and became successful and dedicated in his creators footsteps. Like Gearbox he often times doubled as a Data Logger/Explorer. Often times he would accompany a representative of Cybertron on outer world expeditions to add to Gearbox and his archive. Unfortunately his life of peace would take a turn for the worst.

The facility was attacked while he had been gone on an expedition. Upon arrival Laserbot discovered his adoptive creator had been killed in the attack by none other then a rebel group calling themselves Neo Decepticons. Laserbot had never before felt such grief it was then that the dam he had created to his abilities for so many years finally crumbled letting go a torrent of energy swilling with emotion.

Laserbots guardian instincts roared with sorrow as energon tears had streamed from his optics uninhibited. The tremendous guilt that he had not been there to defend Gearbox weighed heavily on his spark. Little did he realize that in Gearbox’s death he had also lost the knowledge of his guardian heritage. It would not be until many millennia later that he would discover his true identity.

Having nothing left but his broken spark and the desire for retribution Lutrex sought out to join in the rebirth of the Autobots forces to prevent others from sharing the same fate that his creator had fallen victim to.

Lutrex’s powers were revealed time and time again to both Autobot and Decepticon alike. It did not take long till many came to know him for his fierce fighting flame that resided behind a gentle demeanor. Over time Lutrex climbed through the ranks, and some time along the way a mech had called him “The Laserbot”, after that it had just stuck… Over time “The Laserbot” was shortened to just “Laserbot” an appropriate title for the mech who fought with a sword of laser core energy, and armored in light.

== Weapons & Abilities ==

Lutrex has a unique ability called energy manipulation. He is able to control his laser core or spark energy to form tools or weapons using his hands as the basic routing point, except in the case such as his energy field which emanates form his entire body.

His preferred weapon of choice is his laser sword. He however can shape an maintain many different forms though newer forms take more concentration. That is why he normally will stick to a sword in battle. When he is in need of a long ranged weapon he possesses a mounted energy rifle. It may act as a back up in the case that Laserbot expels to much of his energy that it threatens to expire his spark.

== Weaknesses ==
Laserbots weakness is the very same thing that gives him his strength. Laserbot must not rely too heavily on his abilities at this time as he has not fully matured into a true guardian yet. He risks extinguishing his spark if he outputs too much core energy. At the same time he is learning not to rely to heavily on his abilities for it makes him weak in the instance that he cannot use them. Because of this Laserbot is honing his skills in metalikato. Because Laserbots nature is to protect others he often times will put himself into danger to do so, sometimes without assessing the entire situation.
