Description
When the villainous Molva (an enemy I created a long time ago, but haven't done much with) used his sword, Soul Cleaver (which splits the soul of those hit in two, leading to insanity and then death). on TimeRiftette, the strange magic of her crown caused a strange side effect. Instead of splitting her soul in two, with both halves in one body, she split into to separate versions of herself. Each with their own half of her soul.Time-ette is has the girly side of TimeRiftette's personality, while Rift-ette has her mischievous and arrogant side. They each retain basic knowledge, but certain information (such as the properties of potatoes and how they affect magic) are split between the two of them. Neither remember much about being TimeRiftette, and they both look and act much younger than TimeRiftette.
Time-ette has a crush on TimeRift, while Rift-ette is all like "Ew! Gross!"
Eventually, TimeRift will find a way to return TimeRiftette to her normal state. And someday TimeRiftette may even be able to split into Time-ette and Rift-ette at will, and be able to form back into one as well. (But she's not gonna learn how to do that until way in the future...)

*All assortments of random items are thrown in the dodgeball war, and tensions really start to heat up when Time-ette makes a grab for Neko's rope to throw it at Rift-ette*

Rift-ette: ...... *the rope flew straight at her, one of the braided ends hitting right on her forehead. But all it felt like was a spaghetti noodle with a knotted end*
.... *throws the rope right back at Time-ette in the exact same way*

*as they were flinging the rope back and forth, they've walked towards each other, well within the length of the rope*
*Rift-ette blocks the rope from hitting her and it briefly flies straight up until it comes back down, the both of them catching its ends at the same time, glaring daggers at each other*
*Meanwhile, poor Neko is still underneath her parasol, which is now completely buried under a pile of dodgeballs and randomly thrown stuff*

Neko: *can faintly hear them* Waitwait, are they playing tug of war, WITHOUT ME!?!? 😢

Time-ette and Rift-ette: ....... !!! *they were about to protest, but they're too fatigued to say anything, and so they promptly fall asleep*

Neko: Well originally Time-ette wanted to play tug of war with all 3 of us, but Rift-ette didn't want to play... Actually she didn't want to play with me and Time-ette PERIOD. So Time-ette and I played jump rope instead, and right as she was going along smoothly with her jumping Rift-ette ruined it with a dodgeball and they soon got into a dodgeball war. When they ran out of balls they started throwing any random object they could find, including my rope *holds up her frayed blue rope as she fully repairs it with magic* That led to them fighting over my rope like two sisters arguing over the same toy, and then when their war so intense they briefly fused back into TimeRiftette!

Neko: My best guess is at their most intense, and angriest, moment in their tug of war they both really REALLY were not fond of each other, and at that exact moment TimeRiftette appeared in a flash of light but then quickly disappeared back into Time-ette and Rift-ette only after saying she didn't feel well...
So my reasoning is for both Time-ette and Rift-ette to fuse together they both really have to WANT to and they have to be in a harmonious rhythm with each other. Now they didn't want to just a few moments ago but they did have a brief moment of "harmony", albeit in the wrong way, hence why TimeRiftette didn't stay.

Neko: Well don't just give up! Aren't you a miracle-maker, a champion for righting horrible wrongs (like what happened with my sister) just as much as you can crush an entire world by clenching your fist WITHOUT any Infinity Stones?? You always find a way.
Perhaps..... *deep in thought* you need to think about this in a different fashion, different than how you normally think about things.....
