Description (Zero2's species)
"Demi-Amorphicus Aetherius"
Splithian: Avi'Cyclo

Like all Demi-Amorphicus, Avi'cyclo have a body consisting of part energy and part matter. They have a larger percentage of energy than most. The wings are segmented; they are held to the body by energy. The halo is an advanced antenna that is mostly energy. It is highly sensitive and extremely painful to destroy, but can be regenerated.

The tail of an Avi'Cyclo looks oddly plant-like. It is rather vulnerable despite the thorny protrusions. Avi'Cyclo are able to pull their tail into their bodies when fighting to prevent it from being hit, but if struck they usually expose it. Many Splithian Avi'Cyclo trim off most of the thorns on their tails because they believe them to be unsightly. In place of the thorns, they will typically adorn their tails with golden rings.

Every Avi'Cyclo has feathery parts at the ends of their wings. These are finely haired parts that can detect changes in energy, air movement, and humidity.

The single red eye on an Avi'cyclo bleeds when the creature becomes angry, sad, or frightened. This is caused by fragile veins in the eye socket rupturing. It is thought to be some sort of defense, similar to what a horny toad does.

Like many members of the demi-amorphicus phylum, avi'cyclo consume raw energy for sustenance. They absorb various types of ambient energy through their wings, antenna, and body.

Young avi'cyclo have not yet developed wings or an antenna and rely instead on their parents giving them the energy they need. Sometimes, an avi'cyclo family will have more children than they can keep up with energy-wise. In these cases, the parents seek out and befriend a creature with an incredibly high energy level. In Splithia, they are often aurorians, lumiflaers, ahrehk'taurs, or diafrillans. In the Popstar region, these are often plasma wisps or A'hurians (what Kracko is).

These formidable looking creatures are a species from the Popstar that has been able to migrate to Splithia via nexuses connecting the two universes. They are feared in both universes and considered a delicacy by many diafrillan societies. There aren't many of them left in the Popstar region or in Splithia...or anywhere for that matter. They are highly endangered and Splithian biologists estimate less than 100 remain. Because of past battles in the Popstar area, people have assumed all of them are evil and must be killed.
