It took a bit of time- to get used to working and having a job with real expectations... honestly it make Flint entirely too nervous. For the first two weeks or so he very quietly became familiar with the area, jumping at any noises and getting lost a few times, but he did get a handle of the area. He also noticed... a Wyngling- or rather, a Wyngling who had been slowly growing. They'd been watching him quietly, Flint could sense their eyes boring into the back of his shell as he worked and moved around.

He assumed the kid was the head couple's child, as he seemed to be a residence of the house and looked similar to them. A couple times he'd caught their eye, when he did Flint was sure to carefully smile and wave before looking away, they could be scared of him because he was so... big and intimidating. The green gro knew the feeling.

One time... they came up to him, offhandedly mentioning something about how it would be nice to have a small tunnel through the bushed into the woods. The thought made Flint remember when he was a kid- exploring the town and messing around for fun when he was bored, so he ever so quietly obliged, cutting one in a thick bush. It was discreet and you'd have to look for it to find it, the ground was dirty and rocky but he was sure the kid wouldn't mind seeing as the woods was full of dirt and grime anyways.
