Description
This may not be a very usable theme compared to my other ones. I would say that it's more of an experimental theme from my side. It's not a theme for those with darkened vision.I've always wanted to create a dark theme like this, but many of my attempts so far have failed. I tried something different in this one.

- Text color fixes in browsers like Firefox and Opera.
- Text color fixes in message boxes.
- Window colors are now the same as the rest and not white.

i really like this one, esp. the clean, straight lines. i wish there were more of these. the only thing i dont liike it how dark nearly everything is. i wish you could pick and choose what is dark and what's not. thanks.

Looks great w/ the eclipse2 icons... since theyre only available in white. the closing maximize and close buttons are a lttle bit ugly, smth simpler and cleaner would be nicer

you know, just yesterday i've made my first ever experiences with VisualStyles. in fact i have always been a WindowBlinds addict and thought that nothing could ever change that.
anyways, until now i was trying about 30 to 40 different visual styles and i'm quite surprised that there aren't more dark ones.
now to make a long story short...
...i have browsed thru the entire VS gallery here on dA and after trying countless styles i ended up using this one, which i (as a dark styles lover) think is the best of them all.
it's sad though, that now that i found my personal favourite i supposedly won't be able to even try another one from you, because i've read in your Muin release, that you're about to quit creating more VisualStyles for windows XP.
so, afterall i guess i now have to stick with Lakrits forever.

Gorgeous work, started using it straight away... a whole afternoon spent playing with it
The text sizes and basic background on explorer windows etc doesn't work straight off the bat, but then what does? And it's all personal taste I'm sure. Now I need to know how to hack into the icons without using the Stardock program - plus how on earth can I get rid of that ugly windows "throbber"??

i love the theme, was my favourite so far, however i can not work with it. forms or anything like that, even the paper in word you are writing on has a dark background with a dark font... so you cant read what you're typing. I also had problems when I installed programs, i couldnt read the buttons because font and background were both dark. If this problem would be fixed i think i would never use another theme..

wow this is great, fits nicely with my Stylish theme - [link] for Firefox. i have searched for a dark theme for a long time. this is the first one that i actually liked the look of and the first one that worked properly! i especially like that menus are also dark, unlike those other themes that kept them bright. great work!

Great job! Some things are hard to read, but i've changed it a bit (basically just made the text a light gray, works nice on the dark text boxes, but still easy to read on light websites like DA.
Heres a screenie ([link] )of my desktop ( i normally run 2 monitors, but it doesn't look good on the CRT (too dark, and not crisp).
For now I'll run with 1, since I've gotten everything on my dock, i don't need two really (well, for photoshop its still nice).

Hi.
Been using this theme for a good while now, but just updated XP to SP3 today, and it won't work anymore. I think they changed the uxtheme patching thing. Will the theme have to be remade, or is there a workaround I don't know about?

because you update your XP to SP3 you need to find the new uxtheme which is for SP3 version.
