Step 5: Ears and Hair Extension-------------------------------
Two last steps before we dive into fur.
Ears ought to be old hat at this point as they're just making more
flesh. You'll want to be careful as ears have to look a little
crisper than the other things we've made, but other than that
they're fairly simple.
If your ears have to blend into the hair, I recommend taking the
eraser tool at about 25% with a 14-point diffusion brush. It gives
the impression of the ears being behind the hair where they poke out.
The widow's peak seen here is an extension of the technique we used
for the eyebrows. Start dark, and work to light. Be very careful to
blend the strands into the existing hair. Match colors from as
nearby in the hair as you can.
