Mystriff is normally dwarfed by his natural Oregon home among the redwood trees. He has a weak spot for small creatures, such as animals, fairies, elves, gnomes, and children.
His spirit is deeply rooted into the earth, and his health and strength weaken when separated for a long time. His gem is a rich peridot, embedded deep into the elm tree formed from the corpse of his fae lover whom he accidentally killed.
Mystriff is pansexual, but having grown in such an odd way of life, he does not understand the point of genitalia/gender preferences for more than reproductive purposes.
A major clutz and one of the larger dragons to exist, Mystriff is often causing himself large injuries, but his healing ability assures it's hardly ever shown.
He's very hard to agitate but that does not stop him from being stern and putting others in their place.
He has a scar over his left eye from a play fight with his mother gone wrong as a child. It does not seem to appear in dragon form or affect his eyesight.
He is often a loner with the exception of his lover, it being common for his type to separate and live alone. Large families or groups of friends are odd for him, and he could easily be described as an introvert.
