Description I was running amongst the chaos as fire burned bright, surrounding me. Shouts of pain and rage echo throughout the woods. I look up at the woman holding my hand. She pulls me into a tree hollow, attaching a necklace around my nape.

My eyes never leave her as she begins to run off, only to be cut down like the rest. I curl back further into the hollow. A dark shadow bends down, looking inside when-

I feel a harsh slap across my face, knocking me out of my trance. I stumble backwards, looking up at Virg as she stands over me. Her dark brown hair whips in the wind with her ears flat against the head. She snarls at me.

"Don't fucking zone out on me you-" "Shut up. I'm done with your shit, Virg. Leave me alone or else." I snarl out a warning to the fox. All it gets me is another slap to the face.

"Enough." Without another word, I lunge, my silvery white hair flying behind me as I take her to the ground. We quickly become a tangled mess, craving nothing but blood. I feel claws scrape across my left eye, and I go for her throat when I feel myself ripped off her.

"STOP IT!" Lomri shouts, holding me back as Virg's girlfriend, Bonatrice, holding her back. Soon, the others arrive and I stop resisting as the Alpha of the skulk appears. Virg and I both freeze in our tracks, watching him.

I cower as he approaches me, snarling: "Vilkas, I've warned you time and time again of your temper. And this time, you've attacked my daughter."

"Virg attacked me f-" I'm cut off by his fist meeting my jaw, elicting a yelp of pain. I feel my heart shatter as I hear the next words that leave his lips. "On the acost of your actions, Vilkas, you are hereby banished from the Shon Skulk. You are to leave immediately. Resist my command, and you will die."

Lomri, who's refusing to let me leave, speaks up. "Alpha, 'is in't fair! You've no clue w'at ev'n happn'!" "Talk back, and leave with her." I hardly register the shock cross Alpha's face, as it quickly becomes a blur when I'm hoisted into the air. I cuddle up to Lomri, tail tucked between my legs as I feel his gentle sway. I watch them over his shoulder disperse in the opposite direction.

"Go back..." "No. 'm not leavin my fr'nd to f'nd fo herself. Were 'n this tagether." I sigh, squirming out of his grip. I hug him tight, feeling his arms wrap around me. "I love you, Lomri." I whimper out softly, feeling his grip tighten. "I luv ya too, Vilz."

I pull back from the hug, and we continue walking. I happily enjoy the silence, following my brother as he leads me throughout the seemingly endless woods. I take his hand so I don't lose him, unable to help my mind wander back to my daydream.

It flashes through my mind again, and I quickly recognize it as the same nightmare that's been plaguing my sleep. The details flood my thoughts and sight as I try to realize who they were. I'd never seen them before in my life, and Lomri agreed countless times  to the skulk never having known anyone like them.

The only thing I recognize is the land. It's a forest near the Western Sea. We've travelled there countless times with the skulk when I was younger. The memories began haunting me when I found the hollowed out tree.

My mind wanders to the shadowy figure. I always awake just before I see his face. I can't help but curse myself out for being like one of cliche those stupid mystery books Lomri brings back from towns when they go to retrieve medicine.

I snap out of my trance as several scents hit my nose. I pull away from Lomri, watching his attention snap to me. "I wanna do something first." "W'at is it, Vilz?" "I wanna cut my hair. It's too long for going to town first of all, and I've never cut it before." "Ill be like cuttin' a kuhnektion, then, hm?"

I nod in agreement, and whip out my rainbow obsidian knife, and begin chopping at my long white locks carelessly. I flinch in surprise when Lomri takes it, and begins cutting my hair for me. I feel the weight begin dropping off of my head.

When he finishes, I run my fingers through my short hair, and can't help but feel a bit sorry for the loss. I look at my once precious long white hair piled on the ground, frowning. A twinge of regret flickers through my heart, before I take my knife back, and put it away. I turn, putting it behind me, just as my past. "To town we go, then?"

I loop arms with the fox, walking into the town by his side. I can hardly contain my excitement at all the large buildings and wonderful sights and smells, my senses going wild. I jolt in surprise when we're approached by a man, and I meet his blue green eyes immediately as he speaks. It takes all I have to not turn my attention to his wings and deep stripes.

I can't help but shudder at his voice. "I beg your pardon. I hate to interrupt your day, but I'd like to ask, where did you get the gem in your necklace?" "Um...I've had it ever since I can remember. It, along with I, came from the Western Sea."

As I speak, I hold it gentle, but protective, feeling the smooth gem with my initial carved into the front being the only flaw. "Why do you ask?" I see the slight surprise on his face, before he continues speaking. "It's very rare, according to my sister."

"W'ud ya two like to f'nd a place n chat? Mbaby we cn f'nd 'ut how ta hep 'chother 'ut, hm?" I grin toothily at Lomri's odd talking, and am pleasantly surprised when the winged boy nods. "I k'n buy us all sum launch shuld ya be hangry."

"That would be marvelous, thank you." His sister comes over, and we all go into a nearby building. I sniff about happily, the scent of food making my mouth water. We all take a seat, and I speak up first.

"My name's Vilkas, and this is my adopted brother, Lomri." "Pandarii, it's a pleasure. This is my twin brother, Quirren." I smile happily, and already know, this is going to be a LOT of fun.
