Thanks to to have introduced me to "Monster"! I made it for her, my sister and my new dear friendI hope you like it !
Sorry for the quick artwork ... I made it with pencil and a big black marker... the drops of blood are additions with the computer, and so I don't know if this is the right category...
I saw only the anime serie, and not all... but I can say that it is a masterpiece in the world of manga and comics...
Great, only great... (sorry for my strange english, as always... )

The black/white reduction is great... you got the Urasawa style, and I like the shine in his hair~ and the dramatic Johan silhouette in the back is awesome. Great! Only the blood looks more like acrylic paint to me. xD
I run a Monster fansite, and I haven't updated it for a long time, but I want to do it soon, in the next few days or so. May I add this picture to the fanart gallery, please? :3

Well, okay, if you want to hear my suggestions.... I thinking to make it look more like blood it should be less "thick", that is, less structure on the drops, a more rounder (larger) shine. I'm guessing if you changed that, that would be enough to make it look like it has loosely dripped down. So much for the blood.
But I am thinking that it might not be better to leave it out entirely. You know, the blood drops also kind of reminded me of rose petals, which is a romantic aspect. xD I think there would be more intensity if it would be kept more simple, just black and white. There would be more space around the figure of Johan, black space, and that would show his power more... (the bit of blood nearly touching his head I find closing in on him too much, by the way)

You can adapt to many styles, I noticed, you managed to draw more tezuka-like and you can draw in WinX Club style...

Ah I see, so it was sold out at your book store... I hope that's because the series is so popular in Italy (unfortunately it's not that popular here, sniff)....
I would also like to be able to adapt many more different styles, but for that I still need to practise more. But I believe think that one could forget one's own style that easily.
