Here lookie here, another dragon reference! This guy has like uhhh 7 or so animal inspirations going into his design (minus obvious bat wings), so who wants to guess them all!

And wow first character who actually looks typical for his species!

Equus

Age: 20 years old
Gender: Male
Species: Coastal water dragon
Element: Water
Height: 8 ft @ shoulder

-diet consists mainly of fish and sea greens
-hands can manipulate small objects
-hind feet are webbed
-tail uncurls when in flight or swimming
-high aspect ratio, pointed wings suited for dynamic soaring
-ovoid scales with prominent keel

A storm separated him from his family at a young age. He was found by a young girl when he washed up on the beach. After she nursed him back to health, the two became inseparable and eventually formed a rider-dragon pair. Shrewd, elegant, and a bit haughty, Equus nonetheless excels in healing water magic and will not hesitate to help someone in need.

In order to get rid of excess salt, he periodically sneezes the substance out of his nose. Making fun of this or calling him a horse-face is a surefire way to end up on his bad side.
