Environment from a photo I took a few months back
It's been difficult finding any sense of pride with my paintings lately, especially when seeing the amount of amazing work shared online and being reminded of everything I'm not. With a full-time job outside of illustration, the pressure to be efficient with my remaining time to paint can feel so daunting and overwhelming, yet I always find myself coming back. Strange how art can fill your heart with as much joy as it does sorrow upon its creation.
