It's been a while since I added to my "Benches With A View" album so here you are. The bench with the view of all views. From the top car park at Elgol on the Isle Of Skye looking across Loch Scavaig to the Cuillin mountain range. It doesn't get much better than this.ΒRelated content

Well I have taken hundreds of pictures of this view properly if you like with no car park in view and from the rocks nearest the mountains. This is the view from the bench so it includes the car park. Frankly I was lucky there was only one vehicle. The car park is usually full.Β

Not at all. It is a very busy place because of the view and the boat trips that go out from the port there. If you follow the coast down to its far end past the cliff that is where the photographers gather. Even in winter you often have to grab your spot among other eager photographers. It is an amazing place though. If I want to be there I can't blame anyone else for wanting to be there too.Β
