The lighting is magnificent... the manner in which the contrast of the highlights and shadows is maintained, even with such clear and visible shadows is remarkable - a perfect study of form, too.

I can tell you how right you are! They are there - however - cause I got a DD for my male nude - but because it's not traditional, one won't be finding it unless they look for it. It's a naked white woman's world here at DA - interesting.

I really love the way the ribs look in this!! You're a great photographer and this picture makes me think you could take a really nice picture of someone that looks anorexic and make it actually look beautiful in a horrid kind of way.
That made no sense I dont know how else to explain it. Anyway

ahh... on-line I see.. 'twas a first shoot w/ male model (for both of us) and suprisingly relaxed atmosphere so much so that model's G/F who was also there commented at one stage that she was suprised that she forgot that he was naked.
Interesting comment re: male nudes in you comments area... we actually discussed that topic during the shoot and couldn't see what the fuss was about; although I have to admit that the female form is a somewhat more compact design and the male does have these"bits" that can disjoint a composition.
Will be using this guy again in a couple of weeks.

Oh great was not sure if "But is it art..." [link] was what you were referring to. It still amazes me the double standard. I was in the thumshare chat the other night and somebody told me to "Stop posting that" in regard to my "BEEFCAKE" [link] image which is marked as mature and actually shows no full nudity. When I asked why all they could say was that they just did not want to see that kind of image. So, I asked why they opened it (as it was marked mature) and got no reply. So I now try to make it fun and usually ask "who wants to see Cheesecakes brother Beefcake" and those that know me get a chuckle and say "I do". Anyway it is a silly issue that many feel very passionately about.
And here is where I apologize for rambling.
