CHAPTER 11: A FIGHT AMONGST FRIENDS_

Kinichi started with a metal claw which I dodged. Taking this opportunity, I used peck to hit her neck. I tried aiming for a pressure point to do maximum damage and hopefully stun her, but instead I missed by a little bit and had to hold back. She fell to the ground and tried to get up. “How did you do that.?”
“Like Ken said, I’ve gotten stronger.” Kinichi then grabbed my head like she did in infinity forest and opened her mouth for flamethrower. Before she could use it, I shot bubble in her face and hit her legs with steel wing. “Are you ready to talk yet?”
“I can’t tell you!” She surprise kicked me in the stomach and whipped me wit her tail. This left me open for a metal claw. I flew backwards and hit the mountain side. I stood up. I wouldn’t give up. There is too much at stake. I shot bubble again except that they came out with incredible force. I realized that I had learned bubblebeam and powered it up to maximum. Kinichi was hit and she fell again. She kept trying to get up but couldn’t. She didn’t have enough strength. I walked to her.
“Now will you talk?”
“I guess I have no choice…” I helped her up and sat her down across from me. “I first met Ivysaur and Warturtle when I landed here. I was only a charmander then so I was really scared. They decided to hire me into their exploration team and I had to accept. They trained me hard, so that’s why I’m already a charmeleon. When they learned that you and Ken had showed up, they asked me if I knew them. When I told them I did, I tried to run out to find you but they stopped me. They said that if I try to meet with one of you and make friends again, then they would hunt you down and hurt you. I was being mean to save you and now that you know, they are going to hurt you. I tried to protect you but I failed.” I slapped her hard.
“You shouldn’t look down on me like that. Together, Ken, Chimchar and I are more than enough for those two jerks. Including you if you want to join now.” I held out my hand to her. “You want to join our exploration team now?” Kinichi looked at my hand and took hold of it. We both sat up and started walking up the mountain. We saw a sign that said quick seeds next to a bush. “We should probably catch up with Ken and Chimchar.” We picked and ate the seeds. We zoomed up the mountain at incredible speed. I didn’t take more than a few minutes to catch up with the other two. They were surprised to see me and Kinichi together. I told them what happened and they-especially Ken-cheered with joy. “Don’t worry.” Said Chimchar.
“We’ll take care of those bullies.” said Chimchar.
“Now, you are an official member of Team Chikara!” I said handing her a badge.
