Ken and Chimchar came to my side to heal my injuries as the opposing team gathered together as well. “We should head back.” said Ivysaur.
“They’re to strong for us.” agreed Warturtle
“Fine. The little one is inexperienced. You should train it more.” said Charmeleon.
“We’re not done yet!” said Ken. “You still got us to deal with!”
“Have it your way.” said Charmeleon. He trapped Ken and Chimchar in a fire spin as he ran through the flames to attack Chimchar with a slash. Ken tried to use dark pulse, but Charmeleon grabbed him by the head and through him at Chimchar, who was readying a fury swipes. The flames from fire spin hit them hard as they fell to the ground.
They both blacked out.

We woke up outside of Infinity forest. We headed to our homes and fell asleep. Except for me. I couldn’t sleep. How could I when my first battle was with my best friend whom I have known since kindergarden. I decided to stare at the night sky from outside the cave when I heard rustling behind me. I was prepared for another surprise attack as Charmeleon came out with his hands up. “I mean no harm.” he said. “I just want to talk.”
“Are you really Kinichi? My best friend?”
“Yup. I couldn’t actually tell you then because my team would have then thought I had betrayed them and that’s not a good way to start life here.”
“How did you know it was me?”
“For one, you obviously couldn’t battle. Almost everyone who lives in this town can at least do that. And two, you don’t see a lot of piplup around here.”
“How long have you lived here?”
“About a few weeks.”
“I thought a lot of time had passed. That’s why you were so experienced in battle.”
“Yup.”
“So now I have a question for you. If It’s alright with Chimchar and Umbreon…..”
“I know he’s Ken, too.”
“You’re good aren’t you? Anyway, if it’s alright, would you like to join our exploration team?”
“I would love to.” I started to rejoice. “But I can’t.”
“Why not?”
“I can’t say.”
“C’mon, tell me!”
“I said no!” and Kinichi ran off. Now I was afraid of betrayal. Had Kinichi betrayed me? I began to cry. I didn’t know what was going on! I eventually cried myself to sleep.
