Description FINAL CHAPTER: THE BATTLE TO SAVE TIME____________________________

We climbed higher and higher in the tower. Each floor was more challenging and difficult as we went up. When it seemed like the stairs would never end, I felt a breeze coming from the stairs leading to the upper floor. We were finally at the top. I started to feel really nervous. What if things didn’t go well? What if we failed?  I didn’t even want to know what would happen in that case. Ken sensed my fear and held me tight. “We’re going to be ok.” He said. I had to believe him, but I was still unsure. We climbed the stairs to see nothing but purple mist around us. It was really hard to see, but I could make out a huge sillouette of a four-legged pokemon. I asked Chimchar if he knew what that pokemon was.
“I can’t quite make it out.” He said. “Until the fog clears or we get closer, I can’t tell you who it might be.” As if on que, the purple fog started to fade and as the sillouette became clearer, Chimchar’s eyes became wider. “I-i-i-it-t-t-t-t’s D-d-d-d-dialg-g-g-g-a. It’s Dialga!”
“What’s Dialga?” I asked.
“He’s the master and controller of time. I should have known it was him doing this.”
“If you’re scared,” I said with a sarcastic tone. “you can run right out of here.”
Chimcahr started shaking his head. “No, I want to help, besides, it’s too late to run and I don’t think I could get back down anyways, not with all of those pokemon down there.”
“Good, it would really disappoint me if you turned chicked.”
“A what?”
“Nevermind.”
“I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU.” Dialga said. His booming voice made me jump. I seriously almost forgot he was there when I was talking to Chimchar. He turned around and put a huge grin on his face. “THIS IS WHO IS SUPPOSED TO STOP ME FROM RUINNING TIME? HAH! I’M SURPRISED THAT YOU WERE ABLE TO CLIMB THIS TOWER.” Time seemed to be constantly shifting here. The fog kept appearing and disappearing again and again. “IF YOU DON’T STOP ME SOON, THE WHOLE WORLD WILL BE STOPPED AND THERE WILL BE ETERNAL DARKNESS!”
“Wait, that was your plan?” I asked.
“YES, AND?”
“Why?”
“I’M CUSTOMISING THE WORLD AS MY OWN SO I CAN RULE IT.”
“We’ll stop you!” Kinichi said.
“You better get ready!” Chimchar said.
“We’re no pushovers!” Ken said.
“We won’t give up, even if you kill us!” I said
“NOT A BAD IDEA. FINE, IF YOU WISH TO BE SENT TO EARLY GRAVES, BE MY GUEST. I’LL BE HAPPY TO ABLIGE.”  Kinichi and Chimchar started out the fight with a couple flamethrowers at Dialga.. Ken used sucker punch and I tried bubblebeam. Our attacks struck him one by one, scoring what should be a great deal of damage. When our attacks stopped, Dialga stood there as if we never did anything. “YOUR ATTACKS ARE USELESS AGAINST MY POWER!” Roared Dialga. He released an ear-piercing screech. Everything seemed to slow down, and then speed up, and then slow again. It felt like I was being torn apart. I fell to the ground gasping and writhing in pain. Everyone else soon followed. I suddenly stopped twisting and turning and was pushed to the ground by an invisible force. I couldn’t move. No matter what I did I couldn’t move. Everyone else seemed to be under the same situation as me. What power Dialga had. He was able to pin all of us down at the same time.
“I THINK I’LL START WITH THE CHARMELEON.” I raised my eyes in shock as Dialga raised some rocks from the ground. He was using ancient power. The rocks went flying in Kinichi’s direction. I tried to break loose again so I could help, but I couldn’t move still. I tried to release a bubblebeam but me being frozen means that I can’t attack, either. As the boulder-shaped rocks came closer to Kinichi, I closed my eyes in fear. I couldn’t look at my friend die. Dialga was relentless. He didn’t care. I started to get mad as I heard Kinichi’s scream echo in my ears. Afterwards, I looked at him as he skipped me and turned to Chimchar.
“NOW FOR YOU.” He raised some boulders again and hurled them even faster at Chimchar. I tried saving him again, but I still couldn’t move, no matter what I did. He turned to me. He looked at me with cold, hard eyes. I knew it, I was going to die. No escape. I was just about ready to give up.
“NOW FOR THE PIPLUP.” I was scared out of my mind. I couldn’t think straight. I saw vision after vision. My memories as human started to come back to me. I actually started to see my life flash before my eyes. I was convinced. I’m going to die. Dialga raised and fired the rocks at me and even stronger than with Chimchar. I closed my eyes. I heard a thud but felt no pain. I opened them to see Ken standing with weak knees surrounded by rocks.
“K-Ken?”
“I t-t-told you I wouldn’t let anything happen to you, that I would protect you. I couldn’t stand… the thought… of… losing… you… I had to… do… something and somehow was able to break… free…I hope I’ve… done… enough. I’m sorry………..S-S-S-Saori……..” He collapsed in a broken heap on the ground. His breathing stilled. I began to cry. I had lost my best friends. I couldn’t take this anymore. Ken and Kinichi started glowing. A weird, ghostly gas rose from them and shot into my body. My body absorbed the light and I started to glow. I felt warm inside. It was a familiar warmth. They weren’t gone. They’re helping me right now. I knew that Ken and Kinichi were counting on me. So was Chimchar. I became filled with strength. With this strength, I was able to pick myself up from Dialga’s grip and I started to feel weird, like when I was transforming into a piplup. I grew bigger, my beak sharper, my wings felt harder. I felt like my power had doubled.
“You think you took away my friends? You’re wrong. They’re still here. Like I said, we won’t give up, even if you kill us!” When I stopped glowing, my appearance had totally changed. I defiantly wasn’t a piplup anymore, I was a prinplup. Dialga laughed at my courage. “YOU EVOLVING DOESN’T CHANGE ANYTHING! YOU STILL CAN’T BEAT ME!”
“Except it’s not just me right now, it’s also my friends. We’re taking you down!” I charged at him with the full intention to kill. My first attack was an aerial ace. He was too big to try to dodge, so he whipped his tail around and we collided. I pushed harder and was able to break through his attack ad score a direct hit. I was shocked by the power of my aerial ace. It felt more fine-tuned and powerful than before. I then took this opening to try to lift him into the air with steel wing. He was really heavy, however, and I had a lot of trouble even lifting him. “YOU STILL CAN’T BEAT ME. YOUR MOVES AREN’T DOING ANYTHING!” I took a quick seed that I still had from the dojo experience and ate it. I immediately became jittery and excited. When I ran, I had to force myself to stop or I would fall right of the tower. I kept hitting him with aerial ace over and over with my newfound speed. Dialga started to get really annoyed and roared another screech. It stopped me for a second, but I was able to break free before it did any major damage. I got him in the back of the neck and while he flinched, took the opportunity to slide under him. The quick seed wore off and I popped in a strength seed I took from my and Ken’s fruit basket. I drill pecked him up into the air. My new strength sent him higher than I originally thought. It was incredible. I followed up with a steel wing and sent him flying the other way. To keep the damage rolling and not to reveal an opening, I also bubblebeamed him. He was sent crashing onto the tower. I allowed Dialga to start getting up before I used drill peck. He stood up and before he could have time to do anyting about it, I drilled right into his jewel on his chest.I richoched off and when I did the jewel split open. Weird shadows were pouring out of it like a broken faucet. I then saw a huge ghostly figure shoot out of the jewel and hover in front of me. I starred without flinching or blinking.
“You must be what was controlling Dialga.”
“You’re very smart.” Said the figure.
“Who are you?”
“My name is Darkrai. How did you figure out that Dialga was being controlled.”
“Why would the controller of time try to rule the world?” I said with a know-it-all answer. “I hope you’re ready for defeat.” I tried steel wing on him but he ducked into the ground. When he appeared behind me, he hit me in the back of the head and I fell forward. I bounced myself and landed on the ground. I shot bubblebeam and scored a bug hit. I then sent him up with steel wing.I cought him mid-flight and before I could throw him down he shot shadow ball and knocked me away. I regained balance and with bubblebeam shot Darkrai into the ground. I sent steel wing after steel wing, releasing them in energy waves. All my anger was going into these attacks. After a long while of steel wing, I started twirling. I put the rest of my anger and hatred into this drill peck. I sent myself flying in at Darkrai at max speed and power. I wasn’t going to show any mercy. I went straight downwards to Darkrai. I started to glow again. I began burning hot from gravity but I wouldn’t stop. I strengthened my beak to a long point and I finally made contact with him. The power into this attack was like an explosion. So much destructive power went into that one attack that I kept going. I busted the roof and we kept going through ceiling after ceiling. We landed at the bottom and I still dug him a few feet into the ground. I got up and looked at Darkrai’s body. It stayed limp there, unmoving. He was dead. Then, Ninetails showed up and contacted me through thought.
“Well, you did it.” Said Ninetails.
“Yeah…”
“I’ll take you back up there so you can finish the job.” In the blink of an eye we were back at the roof.
“What do I do?”
“Release all of the energy you can into Dialga. He should then be back to normal and he can fix time.” I focused and found every piece of energy I could find. I raised my hands in the air and a ball was forming above me. When it got really big, I put it on Dialga and his body absorbed it. He regained conciousness and the jewel was fixed. I fell down to the floor. I was really tired. I started to feel a little funny. Dialga turned to me and said: “THANK YOU. YOU HAVE SAVED THE WORLD FROM DARKNESS.”
“It wasn’t just me, it was my friends, too.”
“I’M SORRY ABOUT WHAT I DID. I KNOW IT’S NOT ENOUGH, BUT I’M SORRY”
I started to feel really dizzy. I looked up and little stars were flying upwards. I looked confused and when I checked my fins, they weren’t fins anymore, they were human hands!
“IT SEEMS THAT IT IS TIME FOR YOU TO GO.”
“NO!” Dialga looked at me with surprise. “I have to be with my friends. I have to! Even if I can’t see them again, I have to at least be near them!”
“THEY’LL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU.” Dialga said. “JUST THINK OF THEM AND YOU CAN SEE THEM ANYTIME YOU WANT.”
“NO! I can’t g…………..” I had disappeared. I saw the same stars and purple space surrounding me that I saw when I first turned into piplup. I tried to fight back. I have to be with them. Please! Kinichi, Chimchar, Ken, I have to be with them! I began to cry again and my tears fell down into nothingness. I screamed at the top of my lungs, hoping someone would hear my plead and let me stay. I finally fell asleep as I turned back to human.

Drops of water fell and hit the tower. Dialga looked up and sighed with grief.
Ninetails looked at Dialga. “Even though she lost them, she still believed that they were with her. I wonder what changed her mind.”
“SHE JUST LOST HOPE WHEN SHE STARTED TRANSFORMING.”
“I think she deserves to see them again. You can make that happen, right?”
“YES AND I FULL HEARTEDLY AGREE.”

When I woke up, I wasn’t in the forest like I thought I would be. I wasn’t even home. The ceiling above me was stone and dirt. It looked familiar. I sat up. My throbbing head sent me back to the ground. I had a huge headache. I felt someone put a wet cloth on my head. I turned to see who it was and I saw a familiar looking Umbreon next to me. I couldn’t believe it. I got my wish.
“Go back to sleep.” Ken said. “You still need to rest.”
