I got the idea after looking at Animedino1 's comment.

This is a follow-up from the last set of panels of Triple Shoe-Off Time.

After Hallie, Natalie, and Alex all left their shoes in the tree, they headed off. But somehow Natalie feels something weird, but it would be cool to go barefoot for the entire day, so she took off her other shoe, and did the same for Alex's. Hallie decided to do the same and took hers off too. They all decided to leave their other shoes on the sidewalk, since they all ditched their footwear to go barefoot. I'm so glad they get to enjoy being shoeless for their hangout time.

That finally wraps up the story.
