Little comics I drew 1 year ago, inspired by the "Dialogues Of The Dead" by Lucian of Samosata ...
It's written in Ancien Greek because we were translating this extract at school and I chose to keep the original text in my comics ^^

Plot : Croesus, Midas and sardanapalus were three famous kings. Now there are dead and live in hell. Menippus, a cynic philosopher, is annoying them. The three ghosts go ask the help of the God of the Dead himself, Pluto ...

CROESUS : Pluto, we can stand this snarling Cynic no longer in our neighbourhood; either you must transfer him to other quarters, or we are going to migrate.
Note : I chose to represent the three kings in a sort of "chibi" way to show the childish side of their plaint ^^

Petite BD que j'ai dessinée il y a un an, inspirée du "Dialogue des Morts" de Lucien de Samosate ... C'est écrit en Grec Ancien parce qu'on était en train de traduire cet extrait à l'école et j'ai choisi de garder le texte original dans ma BD ^^
Résumé : Crésus, Midas et Sardanapale étaient trois rois célèbres. Maintenant ils sont morts et vivent dans les Enfers. Ménippe, un philosophe cynique, les embête. Les trois fantômes vont demander l'aide du dieu des morts lui-même, Pluton ...

CRÉSUS. Nous ne pouvons supporter, Pluton, que ce chien de Ménippe demeure avec nous : envoie-le s'établir ailleurs, ou bien nous émigrerons dans un autre endroit.
Note: j'ai choisi de représenter les trois rois d'une manière un peu "chibi" pour montrer le côté puéril de leur plainte ^^
