I'm coming up with my Next Gen names on the spot so bear with me for now:

The Element on Honesty: Red Delicious
The daughter of Applejack and Flash Sentry. She obtained her Element while helping her mother buck apples in the Acre.
She had bucked the tree too hard, and more then ten trees were knocked down from the first one going flying.
Red tried to blame it on a stray animal that had came by, but she realized she would be causing her friend's mother, Fluttershy, some trouble, so she admitted her mistake.
Her Honesty towards her mother gained her the Element of Honesty, following in her mother's footsteps. She and her father are both proud.

The Element of Loyalty: Sunset Blaze
The daughter of Rainbow Dash and Quibble Pants. She gained her Element during the Young Flier's Competition.
She was flying in first place in the competition, knowing she'd make her mother proud, but found her friend, Clover, falling far behind.
Sunset was torn to either help her friend or to win the competition for her mother, but in the end, her heart got the best of her.
She went back to help Clover gain some speed, and she ended up getting Fourth, while Sunset got Sixth.
Her Loyalty to her closest friend gained her the Element of Loyalty, and her mother couldn't have been happier.

The Element of Kindness: Clover
The daughter of Fluttershy and Big Macintosh. She gained her Element by watching over her mother's Cottage.
Her mother had asked her to watch over the Cottage for a week while she help Twilight on a Friendship Quest, Since the trip was far.
Clover agreed to help, and the first night she was gone, the animals had went into a panic. Being her daughter, the animals asked Clover where she had gone.
Clover assured the animals to the best of her ability, since she was not fluent in the animal language, that Fluttershy is out with Twilight, and is safe.
The week went by smoothly, and when Fluttershy came home, she seen her daughter asleep on the couch, tired out from helping the animals day and night with their panic.
Her Kindness to the animals and her mother gained her the Element of Kindness. Fluttershy was happy her daughter was the one chosen for the task.

The Element of Generosity: Crystal Belle
The daughter of Rarity and RaRa. She gained her Element with her mother and helping her with the next Clothing Line.
Rarity had asked Crystal if she could halp her model her next line to see if anything on the outfits here out of place, and she happily agreed to.
She was always happy to help her mother, and loved to help model her dresses.
One of the dresses were too short, and Rarity had no more of the material she was working with to fix it.
Crystal remembered she had made a dress for herself, with Mother's help of course, and though it was her favorite, she let Rarity use her dress to fix the new one.
Her Generosity towards her mother that she gave up one of her most favorite items gained her the Element of Generosity. Rarity said it matched her perfectly.

The Element of Laughter: Rhyolite "Pierce" Pie
The daughter of Pinkamena "Pinkie" Diane Pie and Pokey Pierce. She gained her Element helping her mother plan a party for Princess Cadence.
Cadence had asked Pinkie to help plan a party for Flurry Heart's 5th Birthday, and she happily accepted the job, and got her daughter to help her.
Rhyolite, who likes to go as Pierce, is an expert at cracking jokes, and coming up with fun stories on the spot, sort of like a stand up comedian.
She had made the party go wild with laughter and excitement during her act at the party, and was even asked by some other ponies to do an act for upcoming events.
The Laughter she gave everyone at the party gained her the Element of Laughter, and Pinkie had already started planning a party for her in excitement.

The Element of Magic: Violet Light Sparkle
The daughter of Twilight Sparkle and Spike. She gained her Element in the Castle Library.
Applejack and Twilight had been called on the Map, and Twilight had trusted that Violet would be okay alone, since Spike wanted to go with her.
While her mother was gone, Violet studied a few magic spells in the library, and wanted to show her mother she was capable of learning higher level spells.
In an accidential misreading, the castle ended up starting to crumble above her. Twilight had came home to see the mess, and got upset.
In her haste she didn't notice the debris coming to end her. Violet spotted this and used all of her magical strength the stop the falling crystals, and managed to undo the spell instantly.
Her Magical potential that saved both her mother and the only home she had gained her the Element of Magic. Her mother was convinced that she was ready to learn all sorts of spells.
