Megaera Personifies Rancor, Envy, Greed and Jealousy. It mainly punishes offenses against marriage, especially infidelity. She is the Eriny that pursues with the greatest rage, making the victim run away forever, screaming her faults in her ears.
She was born when Kronos castrated Uranus, the blood fell on Nyx thus creating the Erinyes.
