This was taken at a casino in Mississippi. I loved how the stone girl sat in this little garden in the middle of a concrete jungle of cars. At first, I tried for a shot that did not have the signs in the background, but the more I looked, the more I realized how it actually seemed to fit. The dichomoy of the picture, how the little girl seems to be in the country, yet the sign behind her lets you know that civilization isn't far behind at all. It's almost as if each "world" is a different side to the coin.
So after a bit I realized the signs had to be in there. But for some reason I couldn't fit more than one sign in the picture without making it symmetrical. And I dislike symmetry. So that's why there is only one sign... Hehehe
