Two friends came to visit me from Australia; after I dropped them off at the airport to depart; on the way home this image popped into my head, rather clearly and fully formed; clean out of the blue...

I have no idea where it came from, but it is the start of what I am calling the Apocaplyse Series, which deals with the illuminating of Western Civilization's ugly side; it's not going to be pretty; in fact; I've already had to paint over several pretty scenes in multiple paintings, with pollution, and general gross things.

"From what I can tell"; as it's said; this is a result of my six days of emotional strife; in which I wanted to show as much of Canada's wilderness side to my company; but live in a rather industrialized area; I don't think I am the blue guy, I have no idea who the blue guy is; maybe he is the total sum of my emotional disgust with degenerate industrial civilization made manifest.
