Description
Behold Dipsy (aka. your server's, Carmeloth, second favorite monster). Dipsy Chainsaw has a completely normal teletubby body, however, his lack of a head is what makes him one of my favorite monsters. I've always had a guilty taste for headless monsters, like Acephalous from FNATI. In the case of Dipsy, I decided to add the cut neck, a very important detail that is missing from the original model. At first I hesitated whether to draw the neck wound as a clean cut or not, but thinking about the violence of his death, I decided to make the cut not so clean.
The most complicated part by far was drawing the chainsaw and the position of the hands and arms. Mainly because I couldn't find references in very good resolution of the chainsaw that Dipsy uses.
Dipsy Lake was easy at first while I was drawing his body, until I noticed that the details on his face were too much to draw them all. There was a certain degree of desperation in me, until I could figure out how to draw the little bumps on his face. Drawing his mouth was a less strenuous challenge in comparison.
