I like to believe we are standing on a swivel chair because we're a badass who doesn't play by the rules and Springtrap does not like that. Maybe he's actually coming into our office to lecture us about the dangers of standing on moving chairs and why we should sit in them instead of stand.

ShizuP and I actually had a discussion about how tall Springtrap is in game a few days back. Conversation ended up becoming pretty lengthy as you know how it is with FNAF...you start theorizing about one thing and about twenty more things come into play. The short version of the story concerning our discussion was, removing any of Scott's mistakes in not taking certain physics into account as he was trying to get the game out asap...we figure...NOT counting the ears...or rather unbroken ear...Springtrap stands somewhere between 6 to 6 and a half feet tall from the crown of his head to his feet planted upon the floor.
If you use the viewing window of the office into the hall/room 5 area Springtrap's head reaches the top of the glass...there is probably another foot or so above him in the hall where the ceiling is. If you manage to catch a glimpse of him moving away from the edge of the entry way into your office after dashing through the hall in front of your office, he's standing up straight and from the angle you are viewing the game from, he is most definitely looking down at you. The unbroken ear reaches the top of the door frame...most building interior door frames are a standard 8ft opening I believe...at least in commercial or public style buildings. Private residence the interior door frame height is typically 7ft. When you count the unbroken ear into his height Springtrap would be 8ft if the ear is not flopped over. More than likely his body is actually over 6ft tall, perhaps pushing 7ft.
I've watched the background while playing game and caught sight of Springtrap rushing behind my display monitor...yes I'm that crazy fan who got themselves killed countless times just for the sake of possibly being able to solve a mystery. XD Whenever Springtrap rushed past, and I was intently focusing on his blurred form off to the side...I found myself staring at his pelvis/waistline. This would mean the guard is either sitting very low in a chair...sitting on a low chair...or Springtrap is far bigger than previously thought. I don't know about you but when I sit in a normal chair and someone walks up to me I find myself having to look up into their face yes...but my original view point is normally their chest not their pelvis unless they are close to 7ft in height. I've got several friends plus three cousins who are all 6ft 6 inches in height or taller....I feel so short! When Springtrap jumpscares you from behind the display monitor he is actually leaning forward right into your face, I looked to the side and was able to see his shoulders from a different angle, indicating he was leaning down and shoving his muzzle into my face.
Now realistically speaking Springtrap would HAVE to be larger than a normal human in order to allow enough space for an actor to fit INSIDE the suit. Yes the endoskeleton does retract but with that being said it would STILL be too tight of a fit for an AVERAGE sized person. Someone who weighs around 150 pounds give or take. If Springtrap was 'fitted' to a person it would have only been to an individual performer...meaning Purple Guy...unless he was the original performer...would of had a less likely chance of fitting into the suit to begin with. So even if the performers who used the spring suits were all petite...unless Purple Guy was petite as well...which we have no real insight into considering most of his corpse has since rotted away inside Springtrap....its probably safer to say Springtrap's build in comparison to a human is LARGE.
All in all the jumpscare angles are just an over sight on Scott's part more than likely.^^

I've always imagined Springtrap as something like 190cm high without ears, since he was a costume for an average man. Maybe the ceilings is just low?

springtrap in fact is leaning fowards a bit on his jumpscare not just simply standing.
othewr thing is that the nightguard must be in a leveled chair wich makes springtrap maybe at his size
BUT aknoleging that Springtrap is in fact purple man counting with his Human size wich is closely to the nightguard's
it must mean that springtrap and the nightguard have the same size
wich means that the nightguard is in a leveled chair a bit elevated
about the camara 09 the camera must be in a
low elevated place,this islike the roof its high enought but with like a ceiling vent size structure where the camera is located

hehe I'm laughing so badly at the last part with the poor security guard standing on the chair. That face! But it is true, he height has to be pretty high since in Cam01 it's seen that he's looking slightly up into the camera which (how it's positioned to look down on the exit sign above the door) he's at least as tall as the doorway. He's also got to be big enough to fit a grown man inside. Though in one of his positions in Cam08 he looks shorter o: but in Cam10 position you can see his head is as tall as the doorway (looked at my own doorway and shuddered at the thought of something that big looking like Springtrap standing there). But a tiny little Springtrap would be hilarious and adorable hehe

Somehow i can't imagine Sprintrap carrying around a chair, then put it down at random places, stand on the top of it and stare into the cameras for a few minutes XD
