80/90s is the same stuff and by the 90s she was REALLY a jerk. she seemed like she liked alvin a lot by then but he still brushed her off it seemed because she was annoying and selfish and stuck up. in the early 80s i can see him liking her back but then he got to know her and acted as if he could careless as there were prettier girls that were nicer that he was after by then anyway.
