before Sarah was even born her father passed away leaving her mother single and without the financial stability to afford to support a child, let alone herself, so her mother decided to put her up for adoption in the hope that she would have a caring family that could look after her, which didn't take long as not long after she got adopted by a male same-sex couple who she was raised by though her mother was able to meet her almost every week as she was growing up so she always knew that she had been adopted and the reason why that was.
due to her having a supportive family behind her she successfully completed her basic schooling generally getting B's or higher on most of her tests, though when it came time to choose what career path she wanted to take after thinking about it long and hard she thought that she would prefer to be able to support her parents, specifically her mother who was sitting close to the poverty line, so she decided to go into law to become a politician or a lawyer.
as her law course continued she was able to focus on the area that she was most interested in and focussed her attention on "traffic" cases, mostly due to the fact that her fathers always said there wasn't enough lawyers that were fighting for them but plenty of ones that were against them, but as part of her course she decided to go and see firsthand where most traffic cases were initiated, and that was the street racing that seemed to happen regularly around her area so she used the modified muscle car that her fathers had been working on for as long as she could remember to "infiltrate" the local street racing scene to see what they need to put up with and how she could help them most effectively, though in doing so getting to her first meet she was surprised at the body modifications each of the cars had. and she spent the time when she wasn't working hard to complete the course on how you can make a stock car look different than it was before...
after her training was complete and she was officially licensed lawyer, unlike what her parents thought she would do, which was to start her own company, she instead put down the suit and tie and picked up some shirts and jeans and stated to fabricate her own body kits refining the skills she got when she helped her father's on the car, like welding metals.
