Mei Lee and her Mystical Guardian Beast. The Guardian Lion is a half divine - half spiritual beast, bound by the Beast jewel. Mei stumbles upon it accidentally. During a near death experince, the pact that created the first Beast summoner in the last 300 yrs was formed.(darn, that's corny. I must have wrote the storyline when I was half asleep -///- )

I wanted to create a character that has summoning powers, but was against the idea of an actual mystic mage. So the idea of the guardian to be bound to the jewel was formed. (Not that the idea was original. But it has merit.)
