I started playing NationStates recently and have been finding it pretty fun! This flag is for Alurain, a democratic socialist nation that was formed through revolution against Antrepet, another nation I made in the game. I had fun with this flag design and coming up with meanings. The star is representative of socialism and the spark of revolution. The blue is representative of the importance of rivers and water in the country. The red is also representative of left-wing ideologies and the way the top of the star pierces through the seperation of colours is representative of Alura mountain which is where the revolutionaries gathered and provided the inspiration for Alurain's name.
